UET: Advanced Training for the Tourism Sector
celebrates its 20th Anniversary

UET – The European University for Tourism was founded in 1993 with the aim of training professionals in the tourism sector.

The Tourism sector, more likely to sudden changes than any other sector, is in great need of highly specialized professionals who are used to dealing within an international context

Your training course is designed to transfer the right knowledge and skills in order to achieve the best results for a future job in the tourism sector.

High Percentage of Job Placement for Courses and Master’s Degree in Tourism
With the courses and Master’s Degree, students have a real opportunity to work at the end of their study programme and internship. UET reports a very high post-course job placement, which depending on the sector, is between 75% and 82%. Our students’ job placements take place in both Italy and abroad.

Authorizations, Certifications and Agreements

UET is authorized by the Ministry of Education pursuant to Presidential Decree 389/1994 OM 13.01.99. It is also certified in accordance with UNI ENI ISO 9001:2008.

UET has made agreements with national and international Universities for a scientific and educational cooperation.


Student Visa Application Procedure for Foreign Students

    Before enrollment

    the student must send their CV to the location of their choice and be available to have an interview by phone or via skype.

    Confirmation of enrollment

    takes place only after the student has paid 50% of the total course tuition and the registration fee.

  • 3

    Once the signed contract and receipt of payment have been received

    UET will prepare all the necessary paperwork or documentation to be presented to the Visa Office of the Italian Consulate in the country of origin.

For all foreign students who wish to enrol, UET offers a service for the above mentioned procedure

It is very important for the student to immediately notify the UET location of their choice about the outcome of the visa procedure (whether the visa has been granted or not).Upon arrival in Italy, UET will assist the student to complete the paperwork in order to obtain a residence permit.


UET provides free assistance in finding accommodation supplying the necessary contacts and references.

Students can choose the type of accommodation they prefer according to the length of their stay. On the right some examples.

Accommodation booking and payment agreements are entirely at the student’s expense.

Featured Courses


Italian courses at UET have a duration of between a week and six months depending on the needs and starting level of each student. The courses can be combined with excursions or guided tours organized by the school. Before the start of the course, students take a level assessment test in order to determine the most suitable class to be placed in and the language areas that need further study.
The courses provide exam preparation for the certification of Italian as a foreign language (CILS-CELI), necessary for admission to Italian Universities


The UET course catalogue offers a vast range of options in the various sectors of tourism which require – in addition to a diploma – a good knowledge of the Italian language.
The UET staff is able to create personalized courses in English depending on specific needs or requests.
On the basis of small groups of a minimum of 5 students, UET will organize a training programme to cater to the students’ backgrounds and objectives. Contact the location of your choice for further information.

UET is the Italian representative of the international group, SLEST. Thanks to the results obtained in the area of various “Leonardo da Vinci” projects of the European Community, Uet is able to offer, exclusively for Italy, this prestigious diploma for the tourism sector.

What the SLEST system offers …

    for professions, the only one of its kind in Europe
    thanks to the European partners of SLEST International Board, such as the Fachverband für touristische Aus- und Weiterbildung e.V. in Germany, the ECBM College in London (enactment of the British-German Chamber of Commerce), the University of Malaga, as well as the University of Konya in Turkey.

Other international associates who have contributed to the creation of the SLEST system are: the Chamber of Commerce of Düsseldorf and the University of Heilbronn (Germany), the AFEC Europe of Bordeaux and the GRETA du Pays d’Aix (France), the national CESCOT (Tourism and Trade Development Centre and Tertiary, enactment of Confesercenti) and “Sapienza” the University of Rome, the University of Alicante (Spain), the National Association of Tourism of Slovenia, the Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Consulting Group in Romania, as well as other national and international partners from various centres.
